The Legendary Axe is Western Wayne’s newest and most awesome way to host a party, corporate event or just spend a night out! Our venue includes axe throwing ranges to play games and tournaments on, a full bar, lounge, and a kitchen for small bites.
We are open for walk-ins every single day and also book ranges for birthday and bachelor(ette) parties, corporate events and special occasions.

Axe throwing is bowling on crack; and Detroit’s newest and most awesome way to host a party, corporate event or just spend a night out. Hurl 1.5 pound of steel at a wooden target, all the while playing mini-games and tournaments with your friends.
Most sessions last 60 minutes, and you are supervised by one of our trained ‘Axe-perts’.
Yes! You will have a trained ‘axe-pert’ onsite with you at all times who will teach your how to throw an axe, and how to play mini-games and tournaments with your friends.
Yes. All guests in the facility must be at least 14 or over. And kids between the ages of 14 and 17 must have an adult present with them at all times.
We do not offer refunds or rescheduling of events.
Yes, the facility is 100% indoors and is temperature controlled.
Yes! We have a kitchen on-site and serve hot food!
Yes. We have a full bar on-site with a large variety of beers and mixed drinks.
No. Outside beverages are not allowed. We have a full bar on-site and sell beer and mixed drinks.
Yes. Our on-site staff teaches participants how to hold and throw an axe in a safe manner. So long as common sense is practiced by participants and rules and safety guidelines are followed, axe throwing is a safe and fun sport.
Closed toed shoes are required. Wear clothing that is not restrictive.
Each session lasts 60 or 120 minutes at our standard ranges. In our VIP Private Room, the session lasts for 90 minutes.
Each axe throwing lane can hold a capacity of up to 5 people.
We will never pair your group with another group!
We are open every day for walk-ins. Our current hours are:
Mon & Tue: Closed
Thur: 5pm – 10pm
Fridays: 5pm – 12am
Saturdays: 4pm – 12am
Sundays: 4pm – 10pm
We are also available 24/7 for private bookings. Email us in advance to inquire about our availabilities during off-hours.
$19.99 per person on Thursday & Sunday for 60 minutes of throwing. Or $34.49 for 120 minutes of axe throwing.
$24.99 per person on Friday & Saturday for 60 minutes of throwing. Or $41.49 for 120 minutes of axe throwing.
$250-300 to reserve our VIP Private Room (up to 10 people, 90 minutes of throwing).
Yes! If axe throwing isn’t your thing, you can still come to partake in our food and drinks. There is no entry fee.
